Terms & Conditions

Welcome to www.gulfcoastcabinetry.com (the “Site”), owned and operated by Atherton & Co. LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this Site and your purchases from Gulf Coast Cabinetry. By accessing or using this Site, or by submitting payment through one of our payment platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or proceed with any purchase.

1. Use of This Website

You may use this Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates local, state, national, or international law;

  • Attempt to interfere with the Site’s functionality or security;

  • Access or use information or accounts not intended for you;

  • Reproduce or distribute any part of the Site’s content without written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend access or cancel orders for any user who misuses the Site or violates these Terms.

2. Sales Channels

We offer two types of product sales:

A. Online Purchases – Sample Doors Only
Sample cabinet doors are available for direct purchase through our website. These are intended for design review and quality assessment purposes only and are final sale.

B. Full Cabinet Orders – Custom Quote & Invoicing
All full cabinet orders (kitchen, bath, or whole-home) are processed through a custom quote system. Once your selections are finalized, an invoice will be issued via our third-party processors, QuickBooks or Square. Payment must be made in full before your order is placed into production, unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Payments

By submitting payment, you agree to the items, pricing, specifications, and delivery terms outlined in your estimate or invoice. We accept all major credit/debit cards and electronic payments through QuickBooks and Square.

Orders are not finalized or scheduled for shipping until payment is received in full. Invoices are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Sample Door Orders:
Ship within 3 business days via standard parcel carriers. Tracking information is provided by email.

Full Cabinet Orders:

  • RTA (flat-pack) orders typically ship within 4–8 business days after payment.

  • Assembled orders require 7–10 business days before shipping.

  • Transit times are typically 5–10 business days, not including weekends or holidays.

  • Residential deliveries may require additional time.

Important Shipping Notes:

  • All delivery locations must be tractor/trailer accessible. Limited Access fees ($200+) apply where needed.

  • Lift gate service and delivery appointments can be requested at the time of quoting.

  • One delivery attempt is included; redelivery fees are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

5. Receiving Deliveries

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Be present for scheduled deliveries.

  • Inspect pallets and packaging thoroughly upon delivery.

  • Note any damage or missing items on the Proof of Delivery (POD) at the time of delivery.

  • Take photos during unloading, even if the shipment appears undamaged.

Failure to document damage or loss on the POD may void your ability to receive replacements at no cost. Do not refuse delivery unless instructed to do so by Gulf Coast Cabinetry.

6. Returns

Returns are only accepted under the following conditions:

  • You must request return authorization by contacting office@gulfcoastcabinetry.net.

  • Returns must be requested within 40 days of the shipment or pickup date.

  • Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.

  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.

  • You are responsible for arranging and paying return shipping.

  • Assembled, installed, modified, or damaged items are not eligible for return.

  • Special order and final sale items cannot be returned.

Refunds are issued once items are received and inspected. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or issued as store credit, based on eligibility.

7. Damages & Missing Items

If your shipment includes damaged or missing items, you must notify us promptly:

  • Freight damage: Must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.

  • Concealed damage or missing parts: Must be reported within 5 business days.

  • Manufacturing defects: Must be reported within 30 days of receipt.

To file a claim, email office@gulfcoastcabinetry.net with:

  • Your order number and contact details

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the damaged items, including box labels and SKUs

  • POD photos (if applicable)

Items must remain unassembled and in original packaging for any damage claim to be reviewed.

8. Warranty – Limited Lifetime Coverage

Gulf Coast Cabinetry warrants to the original purchaser that its cabinetry, drawer glides, and hinges are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns the home in which the cabinets were installed.

Warranty limitations:

  • Applies to residential installations only and is non-transferable.

  • Natural wood variations and aging are not considered defects.

  • Finish changes, joint separation, or hairline cracks due to humidity or seasonal movement are not covered.

  • The warranty does not cover labor, removal, or reinstallation costs.

  • Damage from misuse, improper installation, or environmental factors is excluded.

Gulf Coast Cabinetry reserves the right to repair or replace defective items with similar components. Some replacements may vary in color or style from the original parts.

To initiate a warranty claim, email office@gulfcoastcabinetry.net with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or submission of payment constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
